Thanks
for stopping by my little corner of the Internet!
My
name is Barbara, and I've been playing with Beads since I was
just a tiny tot. More than 40 years now to be a little more
precise! Over the years I've probably tried almost every form
of Beading and Jewellery-making known....and have had the pleasure
of learning under some very interesting (and some well-known!)
Artisans.
The
most recent form this addiction (obsession?) has taken, is Lampwork
Beadmaking! It's so true, one can NEVER have enough Beads!!!!
My first foray into Lampwork Glass Beadmaking took place in
1997, and since I was at the time running (and supplying with
many hand-made goods) 2 large and very successful businesses
- Lampworking was set aside until there was more time to devote.
In 2001, I walked away from daily operations to persue my hearts
desires and now am full-on into Lampworking! Having a blast!
Mainly working with Moretti and Vetrofond at the moment, but
I also use BullsEye, Lauscha, Czech, Gaffer and Reichenbach
glass.
Under this section of the Ozziebuddy website, I will be adding
my own Lampwork Beads for sale in addition to news of what's
for sale at EBAY. We do stock many of the Supplies I use on
a regular basis, Tools & Equipment for Beadmaking, and you
will also find the very popular EXQUISITE Latticino Twistie
Canes that I make from either Moretti Italian Art Glass or American
BullsEye Glass here in my indoor/outdoor studios in tropical
Brisbane Australia.
I
am quite happy to make "finished" jewellery from any
of my Beads upon request. In the Links above, you will find
TradeWinds Beads - where you can view some of the findings and
complementing items that can be used to do this. I don't offer
much in custom-made Beads because I never know what the Muse
has in mind when I sit down at the Torch!
Please
scroll down for more BJAR beads......... Enjoy!
